Daniel Smith, CFP®

Daniel is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner who graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College. Dan is a Registered Principal with LPL Financial. He enjoys quality time with his wife Mendy, their son Kellan, and their daughter Harper. They are very active in their church and have served in multiple roles related to leadership, youth, and children's ministries. One of Dan's favorite Bible verses is found in Proverbs 3:9-10 where it says, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops, then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." 

Michelle Prok, CRPC

Michelle has earned her Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation and has been advising clients since 1995. A graduate of Ohio State, Michelle and her husband Gary moved to Rochester in 1980 and quickly became active in a local church. Faith and family are the two driving forces for Michelle. She currently teaches Sunday School at her church. Michelle and Gary live in Rush, NY and have three grown sons: Matthew, Corey, and Drew. She and her family are devoted OSU football fans. Her favorite Bible verse says, "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:33. 

Matthew Prok, CFP®

Matthew is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and has earned both his Securities and Life Insurance licensing. An alumnus of the University at Buffalo, Matthew graduated with degrees in both Business and Communication. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Matthew worked in the industry as a Financial Consultant. In addition to building relationships with Cornerstone's existing clients, Matthew has been actively building new client relationships while nurturing those he has already brought with him to Cornerstone. When not at work, Matthew serves in his role as President of the Rochester Chapter of the UB Alumni Association.

Becky Blowers

Becky is a certified Registered ParaplannerTM, which she completed through the College of Financial Planning in 1998. Becky also graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1997. She joined the Cornerstone team in 1997 and wears multiple hats to support clients, whatever their individual needs may be. Becky enjoys being an aunt of four: Trevor, Ethan, Mercedes and Isaiah. She loves to read, travel to new places and explore family genealogy. Her favorite movie is The Princess Bride. 

Renee Hawkes

Renee also joined Cornerstone in 1997. Renee serves in an Administrative Assistant role and supports the Client Advisory Group by preparing paperwork, speaking with clients, and following up after appointments. She received a Medical Secretary degree from Bryant & Stratton. Renee has two sons and enjoys sports, playing cards, traveling and just spending time with family and friends. Her favorite scripture is, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" Phillipians 4:13. If she could have one superpower, she would love to be able to fly! 

Margaret Wells

Margaret currently works part-time in an Administrative Assistant role for Cornerstone fulfilling general office duties on a daily basis. She joined the team in 1991 when she worked as a paraplanner and office manager until 2003 when her son was born three months prematurely. She graduated from Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, IL in 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Science. She is married to Allan, who is a mechanical engineer at Delphi. Her son Brandon, despite his early birth, is very healthy, does well in school, loves participating in Karate and enjoys reading and music. The whole family is very involved at Anchor Christian Church, where Allan is an elder and Margaret plays keyboard. Margaret enjoys watching NBA games, taking walks, and spending time with her family. Her favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:28-29, which says, "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary. And His understanding, no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."
